What love means to me....

Its hard to describe & I might never be ble to give what I really think about the whole manner.

When I first heard of the contest, the little girl kinda popped into my head. She still looks the same as she does now.

There were words to this & these are it:

The Love you have for
I hold deep within the caverns of my mind
in a place I haven't seen since my childhood


My inner child holds your love for me
a warm, bright, & sharp-pointed star

Its warmth has saved me from the coldness of our thoughts
Its light has brighten the darkness of my fears
but...
its points have pierced her skin
more than once
The blood has stained her dress, pure white, & turned it crimson red in its place

Is this, but my choice
That my younger self, who does not know
stand the pain for my sake, she suffers so
Knowing that she holds everything in place

Why should such a child have so much on her young shoulders while I'll freely love you

I see her stare, when I close my eyes
Purely innocent, yet still strong
with a spice of tears falling from her blood stained cheeks

Everything can cease....
but...she refuses to give up on your love...
While I watch
I noticed that she is slowly is healed by that small star.

I wonder...
is the child within you
also going through this
or something else entirely

Do you do as I do?
Simply watch as this child sufferss
...or do you take your inner child's place
& face my love
head on

For this, I will never know
& hope that one day I will be
strong enough to her place & truely love you fully & your star.
